Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the rare mobile RPG that respects your time without dumbing itself down. Battles are turn-based, so you can pause and think, and the auto-battle option is there for grinding but never feels mandatory. The writing is a step above what I expected — party members actually have opinions and they change based on your choices.

Crafting is the hook that kept me up too late. You break down loot, combine materials, and slowly build gear that fits your playstyle. Controls are all menu-driven and work fine one-handed, though the inventory screens get cramped on smaller phones.

Battery is the one caution. During cinematic battles my phone warmed up and drained fast. Turning off the high-quality effects in settings fixed most of it and the game still looked great.
